Welcome to the 2019 U8 Summer Program Registration
This program will serve as an introductory program to Boys lacrosse. Directed by high school coaches
and players, basic concepts and skills will be introduced in a fun atmosphere.
Level 8U is for players born between 9-1-10 and 8-31-12
Registration will be open April 15 - June 3.
Length of program: 6 weeks, held on Sunday evenings
Registration Fee: $40 (plus $30 US Lacrosse membership required to register)
Dates: June 16, June 23, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28 (no practice on June 30 due to Independence
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Location: front field at Farmington High School
Maximum registration: 50 boys
Required Equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, lacrosse stick, mouth guard, athletic

Here's the latest scoop for the 2019 season:
Practice begins the first week of April at the Schmitz-Maki arena.
Tryouts for Boys 14U will be April 1 and 2 from 7:30-9 pm at FHS turf. Boys 12U and 10U tryouts/evaluations are scheduled for the second week in April. Final scheduling will be released at a later date.
Practice will be held Monday - Thursday, 2 nights a week between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. This schedule is only for the practice season on the turf. (April - mid May)
Boys 14A will be practicing outside on the FHS turf 3-4 days per week (schedule to be determined).
BOYS TURF SCHEDULE: Mondays & Tuesdays 10U - 6-7pm, 12U 7-8pm, 14UB 8-9pm.
GIRLS TURF SCHEDULE: Wednesdays & Thursdays 10U - 6-7pm, 12U – 7-8pm, 14U – 8-9pm.
Practice schedule is subject to change once we move practices outdoors, and are held Monday - Thursday evenings. Outdoor practices are held on the front fields of the Farmington High School.
Games are scheduled by MSLAX for Girls teams and YLM for Boys teams. Game schedules are released at the end of May, and games begin in early June. These game schedules will be listed on each team's calendar as they are determined. Each team will also participate in a couple of weekend tournaments (TBD). The Boys season ends at the end of July. The Girls season ends at the beginning of August.
Game locations will be at the Farmington High School fields when played at home. Away game locations will be determined by other associations. You will be able to view all of this information on your team's tagged calendar. Also, your team manager/parent coach will be emailing and sharing this information.
All new players will be asked to purchase a uniform to wear at games and tournaments. This uniform can be used in future seasons unless your player outgrows it. For those players that have outgrown their uniform or if his/her uniform did not fit from last year, you will need to order a new replacement uniform. Sample sizes will only be available at the parent’s meeting this year.

Informational Parent Meeting for those who have registered: Mon, March 11, 2019 in Boeckman Middle School Little Theater, Girls team parents 6-7 pm, Boys team parents 7-8 pm.
Please note, additional fees may be assessed for 'A' level teams once teams are selected.
